Live suggestion engine

Cognito CX follows the conversation and surfaces what matters without you typing anything.

  • Detects direct questions and splits compound questions into separate, linked items
  • Flags concerns, commitments, decisions and topic shifts as they happen
  • Shows a possible interpretation of why a question was asked, always labeled as an inference and quoted from the transcript
  • Suggests a short spoken response of one to three sentences, grounded in your preparation
  • Specific numbers, dates and durations that are not in your sources are removed from suggestions automatically
  • Suggestions are de-duplicated and debounced so the screen does not flood during fast exchanges

Meeting preparation

Walk in prepared. Everything you prepare is kept on your device.

  • Create a meeting with title, participants, goal, agenda and boundaries you do not want to cross
  • Paste text or import TXT, MD, PDF, DOC and DOCX files; images are not accepted for preparation
  • Review extracted text before use; original file names and provenance are preserved
  • Mark sources as verified facts or as notes; only verified facts are used for spoken suggestions when AI is unavailable
  • Label sources confidential to keep them out of cloud AI requests

Model routing — your AI, your choice

Bring your own API key. Choose a primary model and a fallback. If the primary times out or fails, Cognito CX switches to the fallback and tells you it did. Software prices exclude your provider’s API charges.

Floating copilot and screen-share privacy

Privacy controls are available where supported and tested. Capture-exclusion behavior varies by operating system and screen-sharing method.

Opacity controls how see-through the floating copilot is for you (25–100%). It does not hide the window from anyone.

Capture exclusion asks the operating system to leave the window out of screen capture. The app shows whether this is Verified, Unverified or Unsupported for your system. It is not a guarantee of invisibility: some capture methods, recording tools and external cameras can still capture it.

Consent is your responsibility. Capture exclusion does not replace any legal requirement to inform or obtain consent from participants before recording or transcribing. See Security.
